BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Aventura HOA board members.

  • Jim Hirsch

    PRESIDENT

    An Aventura resident since 2022, Jim serves as our HOA President. He previously spent 18 years as Associate Superintendent for Academic and Technology Services at Plano Independent School District. 

  • Greg Scott

    SECRETARY

    Greg has lived at Aventura since 2008 and has been a serial member of our HOA board, serving for three non-consecutive terms so far. Most recently, he became our Secretary in 2025.  

  • Colin Turney

    TREASURER

    Colin has served as Director and Treasurer since joining the board in 2021. He works as a Creative Director at an advertising agency and has called Aventura home since 2016. 

  • Alison Garahan

    DIRECTOR

    Alison has lived at Aventura since 2008 and joined the board in 2025. She works as a Certified Personal Risk Manager providing insurance and risk management services to high-net-worth clients.

    The board is currently reviewing candidates to serve as our fifth director.
